Crenoir

Terms

What this is

crenoir.org is run by Crenoir, an independent research commons on how products, technology and AI meet human beings. Crenoir is not-for-profit in spirit; it has not yet been formally registered as a nonprofit (D3), and we will not claim otherwise until it is.

Accounts

You may create an account to apply for Fellowship, sign up as an organisation, or manage your settings. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in email or Google account secure.

Sign-in is passwordless: a magic link sent to your email, or Google sign-in (P18).

Fellows and published work

Fellowship is by application or invitation, and is reviewed by Crenoir before anything is published (D4, P5).

Authors keep all rights to their work (D5). By submitting, you grant Crenoir a non-exclusive right to host and display the work on crenoir.org; see Submission terms for the full detail.

Organisations

Organisation accounts are verified before they can send introduction requests to Fellows. Fellows decide, without exception, whether to accept.

Acceptable use

No scraping, no automated mass outreach to Fellows, and no misuse of introduction requests. We may pause or remove an account that abuses the commons or the people on it.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be announced on the site.
